THE FATHER OF THE FATHERLESS AND DEFENDER OF THE WIDOWS
Wednesday July 3rd was a busy day for The Wameyo Foundation team as they crisscrossed across the constituency delivering on promises made. The final meeting involved some 50 widows drawn from different corners of the constituency. In the spirit of benevolence, which is one of the pillars of Team Wameyo, the foundation supplied the widows with various household items including 2Kg of wheat flour for cooking chapatis per person, 1 kg of ndengu beans per person, 1 liter of cooking oil per person, 1 Kg of rice per person, 1 Kg of sugar per person, 1 Kg of salt per person, 1 bar of soap per person, 1 bottle of baby care jelly per person, 2 tissue rolls per person and matchboxes.
The widows were so happy with the love gesture and promised to promote the virtues of the foundation in their various villages. This is a journey that has started in earnest and they will cling to the ideals being promoted is what they articulated. They promised to recruit more members to join the NAMULEKHWA NENDE WAMEYO FOUNDATION bandwagon
